The power of collaborative learning

Now We Are One: Reflections on @TeachAldenham #Nurture1415

This blog, TeachAldenham celebrated it’s first birthday in November 2014.
As a group we have achieved and learned a lot, so it makes sense to celebrate that alongside the #Nurture1415 reflections blogs. Over the last year we have:

  • Run our first teachmeet #TMAld
  • Attended and presented at teachmeets at Beaumont School, Bentley Wood and Whitefield School
  • Commissioned, edited, ‘re-blogged’ and written original blog posts about our work – including sharing resources, inspiration, and wider ideas related to teaching and learning.
  • Networked online and grown our Personal Learning Network
  • Been part of an Assessment for Learning project with support from Christine Harrison at King’s College London
  • We look forward to growing our network and continuing to share different ways to improve our teaching.

Happy birthday to us!
Here’s to the year ahead!
