Mark Turner
Mark is the managing Director of Motivational Maps Education Ltd. He has extensive success and experience as a coach working with senior leaders and managers in various schools and in local government. As a qualified coach, Mark is recognised as the expert in aligning the performance of individuals and teams with their motivation to achieve success on a personal and organisational level.
Heads are well aware that performance in their school depends upon the right direction, the appropriate skills and massive amounts of motivation. Motivational Maps® provide a solution to what is probably the most difficult of these three to manage and sustain – motivation. When staff are motivated they are involved and their satisfaction levels are high; they lead their subjects well and increase the quality of their teaching and learning.
High levels of performance across the school community results. Mark will inspire us through boosting staff efficiency and team performance.
Andrew Hammond
After some years in the legal profession, Andrew re-trained as a teacher and has been a Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster, Director of Studies, Housemaster and Head of English and Drama. A prolific educational author, Andrew has written over thirty titles for several major publishers including Hodder, Harcourt, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Sage, Rising Stars and Galore Park Publishing. He has contributed articles to the Times Educational Supplement and other educational periodicals. Andrew is Lead Author of the Independent Curriculum (IC Programmes for Learning), published by Galore Park Publishing.
Why did your teachers go into teaching? We all love those eureka moments and they often occur when the children are intrinsically motivated. Teaching so that children’s natural curiosity comes to life means thinking creatively so as to enable independent learning. Our pupils will need to be  lifelong learners; Andrew will enthuse us with innovative and challenging ideas.
