Dear Aldenham School:

Bentley Wood High School in Harrow is hosting our first Teachmeet on Thursday 16th January 2014 and we would very much like to personally invite you. That is, teaching colleagues and support staff who work in all age-range sectors from neighbouring schools and London boroughs.

The aim of TMBentley is all about sharing great classroom and pedagogy practice, as well as celebrating innovative teaching and learning with all colleagues, neighbouring schools and boroughs and even beyond. We strongly feel that by sharing and collaboration, we can enhance links with a range of learning communities and as a result, drive wider school improvement

You can get involved in two ways:

  1. As a presenter (either individual/pair or groups) – There is a choice of either mini 2 min micro presentations or a longer 6min one), this will be an opportunity for you to present a great teaching and learning activity, or anything you’ve done (or would like to do) in the classroom.
  2. As an audience member – If you want to listen to presentations and network with other colleagues cross-borough and beyond.

Refreshments and an opportunity to meet with people from 5.00pm, with the Teachmeet itself starting 5.30pm. The event will finish at 8pm.

To sign up to either present or to be a member of the audience, you can do so here: http://teachmeet.pbworks.com/w/page/69583055/TMBentley.

If you want to know more about TMBentley, discuss any ideas you have for a presentation, or simply sign up as an audience member, please let us know as soon as possible. Places are limited and we are very hopeful/expectant that slots to be filled well in advance of the event in January.

We look forward to meeting you on the 16th January.
